<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate of a lithographic plate which enables execution of on-press development after an image is recorded by an infrared laser and which enables moreover attainment of a large number of sheets of excellent printed matter with a practical amount of energy amount and excels in manufacturing suitability and handling properties, and a printing method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate of the lithographic plate has an image recording layer having (A) an infrared absorbing agent, (B) a polymerization initiator, (C) a polymerizable monomer and (D) a hydrophobic binder polymer and enabling recording in the shape of an image by exposure to the infrared laser. After the infrared exposure in the shape of the image is conducted, an unexposed part is removed by supplying oil-based ink and a water-based component and printing is conducted. The original plate is constituted so that the polymerizable monomer/binder polymer ratio is 1.4/1 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
