<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure allowing earthquake proofing connection with the use of a rubber socket without increasing the diameter of a drilled hole of a knock-down manhole, and to provide its method. <P>SOLUTION: To the side outer face of a tube 2 inserted into the drilled hole 3 of a manhole body 1, the rubber socket 4 bent into an approximately U-shaped cross section is fixed with its bent portion directed to the outside of the manhole body and its inside tubular portion 4a applied thereto by using a fastening band 5. A sleeve ring 6 is connected and fixed to the tip of an outside tubular portion 4b of the rubber socket. A connection member 8 is filled in a gap between the outer face of the sleeve ring and the inner face of the drilled hole to connect the sleeve ring to the manhole body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
