<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a browsing history display function, a marker function, a retrieving function, and a prereading function for providing a user interface using various layouts in a three-dimensional space regarding pictures on a web page itself functioned as a bookmark and supporting web browsing. <P>SOLUTION: By analyzing bookmarks of a web browser, titles and URLs of the web page for the bookmarks are extracted, access to a web page of the WWW is performed by using the URLs of the web page. The web page itself is converted into an image, and the web page is displayed on the basis of the various layouts in the three-dimensional space. The browsing history display function makes the web page existing on the browsing history display by using the same technique with the bookmark. The marker function pastes images of a memo on the web page in the three-dimensional space. The retrieving function supplies retrieved results from the web page itself.
