<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of improving the cushion effect, by lowering the center of gravity without increasing weight of a head, by transferring a thickness reducing quantity (that is, the weight) in an upper cover of the head to the lower side of the head, the rear side or a cushion member. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises a step of molding the golf club head for equalizing the thickness on the peripheral edge of the upper cover to the other part of the head by forming a recessed part on the lower side by integrally arranging a plurality of projection blocks on an upper side elimination reference surface of a processing zone by arranging the processing zone in the upper cover of the hollow golf club head, a step of eliminating the projection blocks for reducing the thickness of the upper cover by eliminating the respective projection blocks along the elimination reference surface, and a step of polishing the golf club head for polishing the upper cover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
