PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small battery pack easy to manufacture, and a method of manufacturing the battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery pack has a battery 10 held in an outer case 20 made of synthetic resin and having a rectangular bottom and sidewalls larger in area than the bottom. The outer case 20 is manufactured by drawing or the like, and the thickness of the sidewalls of the outer case 20 is set to 0.05-0.30 mm.
