PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone apparatus where convenience in slave sets is raised. SOLUTION: The telephone apparatus 1 comprises: a master set 3 to be connected to a communication line 2; and the three slave sets 4a-4c to be connected to the master set and connected to the communication line 2 via the master set 3, including: a common telephone number to be commonly used in the master set 3 and the slave sets 4a-4c; and individual telephone numbers to be independently used by the respective slave sets 4a-4c. The memory part 17 of each slave set 4a-4c stores incoming call processing setting information which indicates that a processing to be performed by the control part 18 of each slave set 4a-4c with respect to the incoming call of the common telephone number is a calling processing to perform calling or a non-calling processing not to perform calling. When the incoming call of the common telephone number is received, the control parts 18 of the respective slave sets 4a-4c perform the calling processing or the non-calling processing, based on the incoming call processing setting information stored in the memory part 17 of each slave set 4a-4c.
