PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a multifunctional vibration actuator so as to widen a frequency band by providing an elliptical diaphragm, to keep sound quality and output excellent, to relieve labor and time in assembling, to reduce a cost, and to enhance efficiency in an in-apparatus space in a mounting apparatus. SOLUTION: The actuator includes a housing 1 where a first house part 1a with an elliptical wall 10 is integrally formed with a second house part 1b having a cylindrical wall 11 with a diameter corresponding to a width direction at the center of the ellipse of the first house part 1a, through the use of both the bottom walls 1c, 1d of the first house part 1a. The actuator also comprises: the elliptical diaphragm 3 with a ring shape voice coil 3 attached on the inner surface; a circular magnetic circuit part 4; and a disk shape suspension 5. The elliptical diaphragm 3 is extended in the wall of the first house part 1a.
