PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone capable of reading and modifying personal information externally, without dedicated program operation in an external device, with a small data amount to be transferred between the portable telephone and the external device via a communication means. SOLUTION: The portable telephone includes a data communication section for performing data communication with the external device having an HTTP client function; a data memory for storing personal information data; an HTML conversion section for converting the personal information data stored in the data memory into an HTML format; and an HTTP server section having an HTTP server function, for controlling the data communication section, to provide the external device with the personal information data being converted to the HTML format in the HTML conversion section through data communication.
