PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call master unit of properly grasping patients or people to be nursed causing no call over a long period so as to thereby quickly and properly cope with the seriousness of their conditions or the like. SOLUTION: The nurse call master unit 2 uses a blank period measurement control program 21b to count a blank period from the final reception of a call until next reception by each patient, displays the counted blank period on a patient display area in a straight line display pattern, and uses a blank period notice control program 21c to compare the count of the blank period with a criterion threshold value entered and set by medical staff thereby outputting a caution needed message when the blank period exceeds the criterion threshold value.
