PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety when an operation part is provided on an upper face. SOLUTION: This built-in type gas stove is provided with a stove main body 8, a top plate 10 covering an upper part of the stove main body, a burner 12 provided in the stove main body to heat an object to be heated, a gas flow rate controller for adjusting start and stop of supply of gas into the burner and gas flow rate, a control means for controlling the gas flow rate controller and adjusting ignition and turning-off of the burner and heating power, and the operation part 22 which is electrically connected with the control means and in which instructions for adjusting ignition and turning-off of the burner and heating power are inputted. The operation part 22 is constituted by providing a step 23a for the top plate in the top plate to reduce thermal influence of flame of the burner. Consequently, influence of radiant heat and convection heat of the burner is reduced to keep temperature of the operation part at a low temperature. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
