PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which can be miniaturized even if it is a double structure cartridge, has both of a light shielding property and a dustproof property, and is suitable for an information recording medium such as a hologram medium in which deterioration due to light is liable to occur. SOLUTION: This invention provides the disk cartridge of double structure in which a shutter is attached between an inner cartridge and an outer cartridge so as to be able to slide, and the height of a junction plane of upper and lower cases in an outer case is shifted from the height of a junction plane of upper and lower cases in an inner case.
