PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent magnetic recording medium having excellent running durability corresponding to an MR head and nearly free from an error when reproduction is performed. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording medium has a radiation curing layer containing a lubricant and a magnetic layer successively from a non-magnetic substrate side on the non-magnetic substrate.
