PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bactericidal detergent composition excellent in stability which does not cause separation, cloudiness, and the like, while maintaining high detergency and bactericidal potency at a low cost. SOLUTION: The bactericidal detergent composition (which does not contain an iodine molecule) is composed of an aqueous solution containing 1 pt. wt. di-long-chain alkyl di-short-chain alkylammnonium salt, 0.01-1.2 pts. wt. amphoteric surface active agent, 0.3-1.2 pts. wt. polyoxyethyleneoxypropylene alkyl ether, and 0.1-6 pts. wt. ethanol.
