PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transfer an intermediate transfer film without slippage. SOLUTION: When an ink layer (11b) of a plurality of colors which is coated on an ink ribbon 11 is repeatedly transferred for respective colors to a predetermined transfer region in an image receiving layer (21c)for transfer of the intermediate transfer film 21, a platen roller (26) is constituted in such a manner that the platen roller (26) rotates following the transfer of the intermediate transfer film 21. In this case, especially, an intermediate transfer film moving body 30 which is provided on the downstream side of the platen roller is constituted of a first film rolled body 32 which is connected with a rotation driving source, and a second film rolled body 35 which follows the first film rolled body 32. At the time of a transfer to the intermediate transfer film 21, the intermediate transfer film 21 being inserted in a predetermined gap S which is formed between the first and second film rolled bodies 32 and 35 is moved by integrally turning both film rolled bodies 32 and 35 by the length of the predetermined transfer region while pinching the intermediate transfer film 21 by both film rolled bodies 32 and 35.
