PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer type thermal transfer printer capable of aligning a position of a bobbin in a thrust direction in a simple structure. SOLUTION: In this intermediate transfer type thermal transfer printer, groove sections 73a-73f provided to a core section 50 are extended from a shaft insertion hole 67 in a radial direction to form the groove sections 73a-73f having different depths on the core section 50. In a work of inserting a shaft 48 to the core section 50, the groove sections 73a-73f having the depth suitable for fitting of a pin section 71 can be selected by rotating the shaft 48. As a result, the position alignment work in the thrust direction of the bobbin 15 can be extremely readily carried out. By the above position alignment work, the alignment of the position in the thrust direction of a flange section 50a with which the bobbin 15 is to be in contact, can be carried out.
