PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a neovascularization accelerator having neovascularization accelerating action even in a blood vessel culture system which is not affected by microcirculation. SOLUTION: This neovascularization accelerator contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of piperazine compounds expressed by formula (1) (R is a benzoyl which may have one to three groups each selected from the group consisting of an amino and a lower alkyl each having a low alkanoyl group on its phenyl ring as substituents; R1is H or a lower alkyl; and R2is a phenyl lower alkyl) and their salts.
