PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating device which can be used by being fitted to the lower surface of a horizontal surface such as a shelf. SOLUTION: A box 2 whose upper surface is arranged along the lower surface 35 of the shelf etc. is connected so as to bridge its rear part and the lower surface 35 by an upper support link 11 and a lower support link 14. In addition, an arm 17 fitted turnably to the lower surface 35 via a shaft 18 and an energizing means consisting of an energizing mechanism with a tension coil spring 21 as a center are constituted, and the upper support link 11 and the arm 17 are engaged with each other with a pin 26 movable inside a long hole 19. In the elevating device 1 constituted like this, its upper surface can freely be elevated between a position along the lower surface 35 and a position lower than this by the upper support link 11 and the lower support link 14. Then, since the box 2 is energized via the arm 17, the pin 26, and the upper support link by elastic force of the tension coil spring in accordance with the movement position, moving operation of the box 2 can be easily performed.
