<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treating device for kitchen capable of effectively utilizing excess cold heat from a cooling device when performing no cooking. <P>SOLUTION: A cooking device S arranged above a fryer 5 for cooking food materials in the kitchen and provided with an air treating part 1 for treating exhaust air from the fryer 5 is provided with a grease filter 20 for removing oil in the exhaust air from the fryer 5, the cooling device 13 for removing moisture in the exhaust air from the fryer 5 and constituting refrigerating cycle, a deodorizing device 9 for removing bad smell component in the exhaust air from the fryer 5, and a blower 7 for feeding the exhaust air from the fryer 5 into the cooling device 13 and the deodorizing device 9 through the grease filter 20 sequentially.
