<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe fitting device capable of preventing an airtight member from being damaged by forming a fist locking portion so as to smoothly run over the airtight member. <P>SOLUTION: A locking member 10 includes: a linear engagement section 14a which permits the first locking section 14 to engage with a first piping member 2; a tapered surface section 14b which is disposed toward an end surface from the linear engagement section 14; and an angle section 14e which connects the linear engagement section 14a with the tapered surface section 14b.
