<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary antenna system of a radio-controlled watch and a radio controlled watch capable of receiving standard waves of radio stations of each area and each country, at different frequencies with high sensitivity and high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary antenna system 20 of the radio-controlled watch 40 comprises a receiving antenna 42, the radio-controlled watch 40 received to switch resonant frequencies of standard electric waves of different frequencies by the receiving antenna 42, an auxiliary antenna 22 exerting resonant action on the receiving antenna 42, and a switching circuit 27 for switching two or more resonant frequencies of the auxiliary antenna 22. The auxiliary antenna 22 of the radio-controlled watch has a communication means 29 for transmitting information with the radio-controlled watch 40. By switching the resonance frequency with the switching circuit 27, on the basis of the information obtained with the communication means 29, the resonance frequencies of the auxiliary antenna system 20 of the radio controlled watch and the radio controlled watch 40 are matched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
