<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of setting the IP addresses of two servers to be used before and after the shift of sessions to the same address, fixing the ID of sessions as invariable ID and guaranteeing the continuity of sessions. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system for distributing information based on a prescribed session to a client terminal 3 through an ASTN or ASON network 4 is provided with a server 1 for transmitting a prescribed notification when a fault is generated in the server 1 itself and a stand-by server 2 for receiving the prescribed notification from the server 1, performing setting on the basis of prescribed information included in the notification and succeeding the distribution of the information based on the prescribed session and characterized in setting the IP addresses of the servers 1, 2 to the same address. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
