PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway apparatus whereby services on one network can be utilized on another network. SOLUTION: The gateway apparatus (100) having a first address for a first network (50) and a second address for a second network (10), includes: an information providing means (120) for receiving a first packet representing a searching request from a second apparatus via the first network; and a searching means (122) that transmits a second packet representing a searching request of an information resource via the second network and receives a third packet for representing information resources usable by a third apparatus on the second network and including a first URL having a fourth address of the third apparatus. The information providing means rewrites (124) the first URL into a second URL for the first network including a first IP address and transmits a fourth IP packet including the second URL and also including a third address as a destination to the second apparatus via the first network.
