PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private branch exchange capable of informing an arbitrary extension terminal of multiline information across a private system by making possible to refer to the multiline information among a plurality of private systems connected through a network. SOLUTION: Information about telephone number/line/terminal under central management by a private system can be shared with other private system. Consequently, the information about telephone number/line/terminal contained in a plurality of private systems can be grasped at an arbitrary extension terminal, e.g. a button telephone.
