PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing the manufacturing cost and preventing a conductive pattern from having wire breaking, without increasing manufacturing stages, owing to concentration of stress on a border of the conductive pattern where an electrode terminal part of a flexible circuit board and a cover film are coated when the flexible circuit board connected to a liquid crystal display panel is applied with a force in a bending direction. SOLUTION: The optical display device 1 is equipped with a liquid crystal display panel 2 and a flexible circuit board 3 connected to the liquid crystal display panel 2, and has the liquid crystal display panel 2 stored in a frame 19 having a bottom wall 19a and a side wall 19b stood at the peripheral edge part of the bottom wall 19a, and a projection part 19e stood on the bottom wall 19a opposite to a connection part between the liquid crystal display panel 1 and flexible circuit board 3 is formed and extended to outside the edge of the liquid crystal display panel 2.
