PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key system capable of opening a lock by using short distance radio communication. SOLUTION: Each of a lock device 14 installed to a door 12 and a key device 16 has a Bluetooth (R) address set for each device which is registered by a setting device 20 with a PIN code common to the respective device; and when a Page button 18 arranged in the key device is pressed down, the Bluetooth address and the PIN code are transmitted as key information from the key device 16 to the lock device 14 by utilizing the short distance radio communication technique and the locking of the door 12 can be unlocked by the key device 16 when the connection authentication is confirmed by the lock device 14.
