PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an open-close operation, and to prevent a peeling-off from a wire screen with the opening and closing of the wire screen and the slipping-off of a net body section from the sash frame section of the wire screen. SOLUTION: An open-close operating tool is installed to the wire screen 1 with the sash frame section 2 of the wire screen and the net body section 3 and conducts the open-close operation of the wire screen. In the operating tool, a mounting section T in which an operating tool body 7 is mounted freely on the net body section 3 is fitted. In the operating tool, a reaction ensuring section H in which a reaction to the open-close operating physical force of the wire screen working to the operating tool body 7 is ensured freely to the sash frame section 2 of the wire screen is secured.
