PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erection method of a bridge capable of extending a girder without generating the reaction force of an erection machine to an existing girder. SOLUTION: The bridge comprises an erected girder 3 formed in three pier lengths and temporarily installing the front end, the central section and the rear end on a bridgehead section of piers P1, P2 and P3 and a plurality of suspension supports 5 suspended on the erected girder 3 in a pull-up state and movable along the erected girder 3. The bridge girder 6 is constructed by using each suspension support 5, the suspension supports 5 are gathered to the center of the erected girder 3 after the completion of work, and after the front of the erected girder 3 is moved to locate in the following pier P4 position under such a state that the cycle of carrying out the construction work of the bridge girder 6 is alternately repeated as described above.
