PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment house having a relatively small occupied area per unit house, good site efficiency and superior daylighting, ventilating and sound insulation properties. SOLUTION: In the multilayered row house, a multilayered housing block which consists of upper and lower stories of houses having main habitable parts formed of a single layer and hallways provided on a first floor at one ridge direction face or the other ridge direction face, separately, is connected to the other multilayered housing block or a double-layered housing block which consists of houses having main habitable parts formed in double layers.
