Holding device (3) for a measurement arrangement has a first component (4) with a support surface (6) for the component to be measured and a second component (5) that is rigidly connected to the measurement arrangement. First and second components can be temporarily and quickly locked against each other using a bayonet connection (9, 10). When the bayonet connection is released, the support surface can be removed from the component that is supported on it. When it is closed, the support surface has a constant absolute measurement position.
