<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give directivity to light emitted from a LED and to hereby guide the light out of a LED device efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The LED 430 is placed in a light reflection cavity 420, which is filled with a first sealing material 470 dispersed with a light reflective agent. A space above the first sealing material is filled with a second sealing material 490 to form the LED device 400. A beam of light emitted out of the LED 430 to proceed sideways is reflected by the light reflective agent and the light reflection cavity and turns upward. The light emitted out of the LED 430 is therefore given the directivity directed upward in the figure.
