<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing the edge of a cable stripper which is low-cost and is easy of processing. <P>SOLUTION: This method of processing the edge of a cable stripper is an industrial method of forming a circular tip 3 of an edge at the tip of a steel material 1 by shaving off the steel material 1 at the tip of the cylindrical steel material 1 in circular and aslant shape by means of a columnar cutting tool 2 which has an outside diameter d equal to or a little larger than the outside diameter D of the steel material 1.
