<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of speakers or microphones required for a portable telephone set. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable telephone set relating to the present invention, an upper end of a main body case 1 and a lower end of a lid body case 2 are linked with each other via a hinge mechanism 3, a key operating surface is provided on an inner surface of the main body case 1 and an image display screen is provided on an inner surface of the lid body case 2. Furthermore, a transmitter section 6 is arranged in a lower end of the main body case 2 so as not to completely close the main body case even if the lid body case 2 is closed. On the other hand, a main receiver section is arranged in an upper end of the lid body case 2 so as to be exposed on the inner surface of the case in the state of opening the lid body case 2, and an auxiliary receiver section 7 is arranged in the lower end of the lid body case 2 so as to be exposed on the back of the case. The auxiliary receiver section 7 also has a function to generate a call arrival tone in the case of call arrival and speaking can be performed using the transmitter section 6 and the auxiliary receiver section 7 while the lid body case 2 is closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
