TRAFFIC INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the display of real time data and estimation data distinguished from the real time data, because the estimation data are different from the actual data and the reliability is not guaranteed at a constant level, wherein traffic information must be estimated for the links in which every link is not always provided with the traffic information.

SOLUTION: The device includes an estimation means for estimating the traffic information on the link not included in the data transmitted from a traffic information center. A terminal device includes a display control means for changing the display method according to whether the traffic information received from the information center is the estimated date or not. Accordingly, the traffic information data distributed in real time are distinguishably displayed, from the statistical data on the traffic information, and a user can be provided with a criterion for judging the appropriateness in utilizing the traffic information.
