PICTURE PROJECTION DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correct a position of a light spot from a plurality of light sources on a projection plane concerning drawing light of a picture projection device. SOLUTION: The picture projection device 1 comprises: the plurality of light sources 2 each with a means for directly modulating the light; an optical system 3 for making the light from the plurality of light sources 2 into one beam; a light deflector 5 which scans the beam by performing recursive traversals; an image sensor 11 which detects a part of the light deflected by the light deflector 5 and has a plurality of pixels; a calculating means 13 for calculating the position of the light spot on the image sensor 11; and a correcting means 14 for correcting the position of the light spot of each light from the plurality of light sources on the image sensors 11 by adjusting light emission timing of the light sources 2.
