<p>The steering wheel unit (3) is connected to the support (2) for the module (1) via a push and pivot joint to allow the height and depth of this unit to be adjusted. The joint comprises a pivot axle (33) which can be moved along at least one slot (20) in the support. The pivot axle, which is used for altering the depth of the unit, is connected to the support via an articulated joint and extends roughly parallel to the vehicle floor and transverse to the travelling direction of the vehicle. The slot extends roughly in the vehicle length direction. The support is fixed to the vehicle bodywork and the steering wheel unit comprises a steering wheel (30), steering column (31) and dashboard console (32).</p> |
