TUBULAR BODY MADE OF FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body made of a fiber reinforced composite material suitably used as a golf club shaft or the like, having lightweight properties and high twist strength and also excellent in processability.

SOLUTION: The tubular body made of the fiber reinforced composite material comprises reinforcing fibers and a resin cured matter and includes a straight layer of which the reinforcing fiber direction with respect to the main axis of the tubular body is -20 to +20° and a bias layer of which the reinforcing fiber direction with respect to the main axis of the tubular body is ±25-±65°. The straight layer is positioned outside the bias layer and the glass transition temperature Tg(°C) thereof and the temperature Tg(°C) of the bias layer satisfy the formula (1): 3°C≤ΔTg≤20°C [wherein ΔTg is ΔTg=Tg (straight layer)-Tg (bias layer)] and the formula (2): 105°C≤Tg (straight layer ≤180°C).
