<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor camera capable of precisely reading codes attached to various kinds of articles which could not be read by a conventional code reader with a simple structure and a code reader using the camera. <P>SOLUTION: The double-line sensor camera, which is applied to the code reader optically reading a one-dimensional or two-dimensional code attached to an article to be carried, includes at least two line sensors differed in imaging form. This camera comprises first and second line sensors arranged so that respective light receiving faces have different angles to the projection angle of luminous flux from a light source; and a data composition means composing respective pixel data obtained from the first and second line sensors and outputting the data as one piece of line data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
