<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus and a drying equipment equipped with the deodorizing apparatus which can raise the temperature of whole catalyst, at the time of a start, over the reaction starting temperature of the catalyst uniformly and in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: When a startup button of an operating panel 53 is pushed (S1:YES), an electric heater 23 of the deodorizing apparatus 20 is operated with a high power output, and a fan motor 24 is operated with a low power output. Once, catalyst temperature T reaches a set temperature T1 being not lower than a reaction starting temperature, the deodorizing apparatus 20 is normally operated till an operation stopping button on the operating panel 53 is pushed (S2-S5). Moreover, when the operation stopping button on the operating panel 53 is pushed, a blower 10 of the drying equipment 1, a cooler 11 and all the heaters 13 are stopped. In addition, in that case, the electric heater 23 is stopped, and the fan motor 24 is operated with a high power output. When the catalyst temperature T becomes lower than the set temperature T2 close to the reaction starting temperature, the fan motor 24 is also stopped(S6-S8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
