<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character string display system, a character string display device, a character string display method and a program capable of performing determination of a display time suitable to the reading speed of a person. <P>SOLUTION: This character string display system comprises an input part 40 inputting a character string composed of one or more characters; an acquisition part 42 acquiring the character string composed of one or more characters; a determination part 44 determining whether each character included in the character string satisfies a predetermined condition or not; a display time determination part 46 determining the display time of the character string according to the determination result by the determination part 44 for a plurality of consecutive characters in the character string; a display part 48 displaying the character string over the display time determined by the determination part 46. According to such a structure, the display time can be determined according to the determination result by the determination part 44 for a plurality of consecutive characters in a character string, and the display time of character string can be determined so as to be suitable to the reading speed of a person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
