PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor wherein a base material constituting insulating paper is housed in thin paper and thus elusion of oligomer can be inexpensively suppressed. SOLUTION: The motor is formed by placing the insulating paper 10 in the slots 4 in a stator core 2, and driving coils 5 are wound on the teeth of the stator core 2. The insulating paper 10 is so made that a base material 11 composed of polyethylene terephthalate is housed in the thin paper 12 composed of polyethylene terephthalate or polyphenylene sulfide. The insulating paper is so formed that a piece of thin paper 12 is folded into two and the base material 11 is sandwiched between the folded portions of the thin paper 12.
