PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM transmission apparatus and method for shortening a switching time when changing an information channel to be received. SOLUTION: When broadcasting a plurality of information channels using an OFDM scheme, link transmission is performed wherein the plurality of information channels are not transmitted by ODFM modulation separately but the plurality of information channels are multiplexed in a frequency direction and batch IFFT modulation is performed thereon. Thus, frequency utilization efficiency is improved. Link transmission information indicating whether an OFDM signal to be transmitted to another information channel is linked with an OFDM signal to be transmitted to the relevant information channel, is transmitted while contained in NIT or the like of the OFDM signal.
