PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallelepiped-type condenser microphone, wherein the direction of components can be easily confirmed, during the process of surface mounting (SMD) and a sound hole is formed on a surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). SOLUTION: A condenser microphone comprises, as a representative configuration, a case 102 having an open surface and a closed facing surface and formed in a square box shape, and a PCB 114 formed into a square plate shape, having electronic components mounted on one surface of the PCB and projecting terminals 116 formed on the other surfaces thereof, and having a sound hole 104a for forward sounds formed in a center portion thereof. Here, a metal ring 103, a back plate 104, a spacer 106, a insulating ring 108, a diaphragm member 110, a conductive ring 112, and the PCB 114 are sequentially arranged in the case 102, and then the condenser microphone is assembled by making an end of the case 102 curled.
