PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately position a beam spot by reducing temperature rises of scanning lenses used in the optical scanner of a high-speed color printer and temperature rises and temperature deviations of scanning lenses for each optical scanner of a color machine and to realize the noise reduction and power-saving of the color machine. SOLUTION: In the optical scanner, two light deflector 62a, 62b are attached to bearings provided on the same board of a motor housing 214 and each of the deflectors deflects two laser beams. Beams are made incident on respective reflecting surfaces while having a small angle in the vertical direction with respect to a main scanning flat surface.
