PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and inexpensive photoelectric conversion module. SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion module comprises a semiconductor element 2 for transmitting or receiving a light signal, a system 3s for fixing the semiconductor element 2, a cap 3c for covering the semiconductor element 2, and a lead 64 for applying an electric signal to the semiconductor element 2 or transmitting the electric signal from the semiconductor element 2. The cap 3c is provided with an inner wall 13 for holding airtightness in the cap 3c, and an outer wall 14 for welding a connection member 5 attached to the cap 3c is integrally provided with the cap 3c.
