PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for warning of vehicle circumference obstruction which is convenient for a driver, and is capable of visually recognizing the distance and the direction up to an obstacle. SOLUTION: The device for warning of vehicle circumference obstruction is provided with an ultrasonic sensor, comprising transmitters 10A-10D installed on a vehicle and for emitting ultrasonic waves and receivers 11A-11D for receiving reflected waves of the ultrasonic waves emitted from the transmitters 10A-10D, a monitor 23 installed inside the vehicle and for displaying an image, and a signal processor 17A for generating an image signal displaying vehicle pattern on the screen 23A of the monitor 23 and generating the image signal visually displayed on the screen 23A of the monitor 23, by regarding the time rate of change state of the waveform of the reflected wave of the ultrasonic wave, reflected by the obstacle as a changed state pattern of the distance, up to the obstacle from the vehicle.
