PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net enabling the easy insertion of a vegetation base material bag into the rear side of a single net-like body and a vegetation mat using the net. SOLUTION: In this net 1 formed of the single net-like body laid down on a slope 2, a longitudinal opening 4 is formed by forming a portion where warps 3 are not continued in the lateral direction, and the vegetation base material bag 11 is inserted from the opening 4 to the rear side of the net.
