PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring evaluation method for underground continuous wall technique for quantitatively seizing the degree of stirring mixture of soil cement fluid, and to provide a drilling machine. SOLUTION: The drilling machine for continuously forming a soil cement wall in the ground comprises a rotating meter 16 for detecting the rotating speed of a cutter, a position sensor 18 and a stroke sensor 19 for detecting the traversing speed of a cutter post 8, and a controller 17 for controlling a driving motor 14 and a traversing cylinder 12 for a cutter chain 7. The controller 17 consists of a computation part 17a for calculating the depth of cut by a drilling bit 6 from drilling conditions and calculating the frequency of cut in a traverse unit section in accordance with the calculated depth of cut, a stirring control part 17b for accumulating the calculated frequency of cut in a predetermined section in a traversing process and comparing the accumulated frequency of cut with the target frequency of cut in the predetermined section, and a monitor 26 for outputting the comparison result.
