PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion arm capable of performing stable operation. SOLUTION: A first arm element 10 is rotatably supported by a base 3 with the first rotational center line as the center. A second arm element 20 is supported by the first arm element. The second arm element can rotate to the first arm element around the second rotational center line 15 parallel to the first rotational center line. A driving shaft 2 is rotatably supported by the base with the first rotational center line as the center. Respective one ends of two links 12A and 12B are installed on the driving shaft in a position dislocated from the first rotational center line, and the other end is installed on the second arm element in a position dislocated from the second rotational center line. The two links transmit torque so that the second arm element rotates by a first angle around the second rotational center line when rotating the driving shaft by the first angle around the first rotational center line.
