<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device 1 low in sliding torque, for keeping excellent sealability for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device 1 comprises: a seal ring 10 made of synthetic resin in which a cylindrical inner circumferential face 10a is slidably and closely brought into contact with an outer circumferential face of a rotor 3 without interference; and a main seal lip 21 disposed on a sealed space A side of the seal ring 10 and slidably brought into contact with an outer circumferential face of the rotor 3 with appropriate interference. A spiral groove 10b is formed in the inner circumferential face 10a of the seal ring 10 to perform pumping of fluid to the main seal lip 21 side by rotation of the rotor 3, and a sliding part of the seal ring 10 is supported on a stationary side 2 to be capable of being eccentric through a flexible part 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
