摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get the most out of a capacity by switching a charge source to either a charge function or an optical communication function without using redundant parts. <P>SOLUTION: A charger 1 for a mobile terminal disclosed is provided with: a pair of terminal side charge terminals 8A and 8B; a pair of charge side charge terminals 4A and 4B respectively corresponding to a terminal side infrared communication terminal 9; and a charge side infrared communication terminal 5. When charging, a mobile terminal device 6 is loaded so that the terminal side charge terminals 8A and 8B touch the charge side charge terminals 4A and 4B, and the terminal side infrared communication terminal 9 is not opposed to the charge side infrared communication terminal 5. On the other hand, at the time of an optical communication, the mobile terminal device 6 is loaded so that the terminal side infrared communication terminal 9 is opposed to the charge side infrared communication terminal 5, and the terminal side charge terminals 8A and 8B do not touch the charge side charge terminals 4A and 4B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
